THE DESIGN STORY

A slower kind of arrival

The brief

Imagine a boutique hospitality lounge that feels intimate at arrival and comfortable enough to linger in.

The response

A sequence of arches creates depth and smaller gathering spaces within the open lounge. The reception counter is part of the room, giving arrival a more conversational rhythm.

The details

Clay-colored plaster, walnut and textured upholstery bring warmth to the concept. Layered pools of light support a softer evening atmosphere while maintaining clear routes through the space.
